Throughout his military career, Andy served with honor and distinction, completing deployments to Iraq and fulfilling assignments at renowned military installations including Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Schofield Barracks, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Liberty, and Aberdeen Proving Ground. His exceptional service was recognized through numerous awards, such as the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.

In addition to his military achievements, Andy successfully pursued higher education while in service, earning both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. This personal experience gives him a unique perspective on the complexities of balancing military duties with academic aspirations, making him particularly passionate about helping military veterans navigate their educational journeys.
